Well we were pretty set on taking a decent break after the high paced energy of making latest album INVADER, then all those music videos, and that incredible 2 month long national Invasive tour. As we rolled along over this great land and saw how much you poured your hearts into enjoying our performances the HOTTER THAN HELL folks reached out wanting us to continue the momentum for another run of their festival dates end of year. We took a deep breath and said what the hell… let's keep the heat on eleven. Great lineup… and great locations… one more run around the continent for the year of 2024. So here we go thick and fast as we rampage into another summer season… and it just gets hotter every year! And now we top it all up with some additional NSW regional shows.

REGURGITATOR formed in Brisbane later stage of 1993 by core members Quan Yeomans and Ben Ely, along with drummer Martin Lee, playing their first show March 1994 for Friends of the Earth. Current drummer, Peter Kostic joined late ‘99. They have released numerous EPs and albums that they have recorded in dubiously idiosyncratic scenarios: TU-PLANG (1996) in the jungle canopy outskirts of Bangkok; the pixel obsessed 80s jolt of UNIT (1997) in a condemned Fortitude Valley warehouse as demolishers waited outside; …ART (1999) in a sun soaked Byron Bay beachside house lapping up the waves; EDUARDO & RODRIGUEZ WAGE WAR ON T-WRECKS (2001) amidst the red bricks and cigar smoke of (Gang of Four) Andy Gill’s London lounge studio; MISHMASH(2004) in a glass panopticon installed in Melbourne's Federation Square as part of the disruptive Band in a Bubble pastiche of reality shows; LOVE & PARANOIA (2007) in a bullet riddled studio in Rio de Janeiro under the looming rock arms of Corcovado with a gang of dueling Brazilian sound engineers; SUPERHAPPYFUNTIMESFRIENDS (2011) in Ben's old Melbourne shopfront; and DIRTY POP FANTASY (2013) in a Hong Kong skyscraper apartment; along with the more recent meta-virus album #9 HEADROXX (2018) that was fabricated over the internet across cities and time. In the past 28 plus years they have toured all over Australia, NZ, Japan, UK, Europe, USA, Asia and the Middle East along with numerous festival inclusions including the Big Day Out, Clokenflap, Reading, Fuji Rock, Groovin’ the Moo, The Falls, Meredith etc. Always drawn to the odd they collaborated with dance choreographer Gavin Webber on the live music/dance project ‘Rock Show’; worked with the Handspan Puppet theatre on Raised by Wolves for the Melbourne Fringe; performed a self-written live soundtrack to Japanese film AKIRA at the Sydney Opera House; reproduced the debut Velvet Underground album inconjunction with Chinese collaborator Mindy Meng Wang; and flippin' eggs with the riotous kid fun of the POGOGO SHOW... more recently so on the sold out 2023 UNITS tour -  among other weird trips down that spiral of light fantastic.

2024: 30 years. 10 albums. 1 being together. Join this latest expedition to the peak mountain of sounds. Deep dive into the invasive notions of INVADER. In a spirit of reflection - scale high, question everything, and arise with some kind of knowing. Kingdoms are benign monsters old world imperial extractors whose flicking cicatrice tails weigh heavy across lives time invaded. Take any strength, and transmute power gained.

Culture like nature is wild, untamed and of it’s own kind and habitat outside of the smothering arms of commerce. In any undomesticated sense it cares little for such invasive nonsense. Then came the hounds of royalty all snarling and snapping with their wilful acts of enclosure ripping the flesh from delicate bones in their infiltration of such fall’s gold. Cannibalising the wild and free for the fattening cauldron of insistent growth that stumbles collapsing flat on the earth filled with all lifeless content and glossy sheen.

INVADER - is a self-produced work predominantly recorded and mixed by Quan and Ben (with assistance by Greg Jard); featuring 14 tracks of inspired high infection, hooking up with prime collaborators PEACHES, JK47 and TYSON YUNKAPORTA (Sand Talk) to turn out their most incisive album since time began.
